Alex Stewart

Alex Stewart has been a part of the pool industry since 1998. During that time, he has focused on service and maintenance in both the Denver and Southern California areas. Over the past 12 years, Alex has also focused much of his attention toward the field of education. He started his teaching career as a Disney University Trainer for the Walt Disney Company and has since earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.  Besides teaching Certified Pool Operator® courses, Alex is in his 9th year teaching Film and Language Arts for the Cherry Creek and Aurora Public School systems in Denver, CO. Alex firmly believes that education should be fun, engaging, and most of all, relevant to the needs of the student. The relaxed educational atmosphere he provides is the perfect setting for swimming pool veterans, as well as those with no aquatic experience, to absorb the material and understand how to apply the principles of aquatic safety, maintenance, and operation to each students’ unique aquatic environments.
